MONALISA TR Consortium Visits BDC

The MONALISA TR Consortium has successfully carried out a use case visit hosted by Bilecik Demir Çekil (BDC), bringing together project partners for an on-site technical and operational exchange.

During the visit, the consortium members were introduced to BDC’s production environment, with a particular focus on induction furnace systems and their role within the manufacturing workflow. The BDC team provided a comprehensive overview of how induction furnaces operate, explaining their technical principles, efficiency advantages, and integration into industrial production lines.

In addition, the visit offered valuable insights into the full product lifecycle, from raw material handling to processing, quality control, and final output. The production processes were explained in detail, allowing consortium members to better understand real-world industrial constraints, workflows, and decision points relevant to the MONALISA TR use cases.
